MSH helps American Express build and manage a successful comprehensive campus recruiting program.


The Challenge

  • MSH supported American Express, a global financial services leader with over 45,000 employees, since 2013 as a strategic talent acquisition partner providing direct hire services across technology and corporate globally. 
  • As an industry leader with an innovative technology organization, American Express hires over 500 software engineers from top colleges and universities across the country each year. 
  • With such a comprehensive campus program, American Express needed a strategic partner to provide campus recruitment and administrative services to support high volumes of engineering talent. 

The Solution

  • MSH partnered closely with the company’s HR and Campus Leaders to implement a campus recruitment strategy to effectively attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent across the US.
  • MSH dedicated a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators to centralize the recruitment process and provide AMEX with robust pipelines of talent onsite at university campuses as well as virtual career fairs. In addition to recruiting, MSH led all interview coordination and administrative support for the campus program.
  • The team led onsite Super Days and More-to-Explore Days to provide an excellent candidate experience which allowed students to explore the campus and meeting with leaders and staff at all levels.

The Results

  • MSH has successfully partnered with AMEX as their campus recruitment provider since 2018. 
  • MSH built strategic campus partnerships, created brand awareness, and transformed the recruitment process resulting in:
    • 500+ Engineering Hires per year across 4 markets in the US
