The Challenge

  • A top brand in the Consumer Packaged Goods space was having a good problem. It was growing both rapidly and globally  through brand building and company acquisition. Over time the downside of that rapid growth was being realized as the brand weakening and the organization was becoming more decentralized, running as individual entities. A new leadership team was brought in to lead a critical transformation, around 4 core beliefs: strategically simplify the portfolio and organization, strengthen core capabilities, expand margin and cash flow, and reinvigorate profitable top line growth.
  • At the beginning of 2020, MSH Talent Solutions was engaged to help identify executive -level talent to reinvigorate the marketing function and give it the global leadership it needed.

The Solution

  • MSH partnered closely with the company’s executive team, including the CEO, to rebrand the companies marketing org value proposition to attract best in class CPG talent.
  • MSH dedicated our Executive Search and Research team to identify top passive Marketing executives who could both grow the brand and bring a fresh pair of eyes to this ongoing transformation.
  • Not only did we identify and select their next Chief Marketing Officer, we gave a world class experience for candidates and the customer alike including deep qualification and vetting, behavioral profiling, and robust reporting and market insights to ensure a successful outcome.
